Mangaluru: In the backdrop of Malali mosque controversy, a crucial meeting chaired by MLA Bharath Shetty was held in Sunday May 29.
The meeting was held between mosque management, local leaders, Vishwa Hindu Parishad, and Bajrang Dal leaders. MLA Bharath Shetty held a meeting with the mosque management, and later a meeting was held with leaders of Hindu outfits. In the third phase, a joint meeting was held with the mosque management, local leaders, VHP and Bajrang Dal leaders.
Leaders of both the sides expressed their opinion. Discussions were held on resolving the dispute amicably. Leaders have planned to hold a meeting further and take a decision.
