Mangaluru: Leader of the Opposition in Rajya Sabha, Mallikarjun Kharge, arrived here on Saturday September 11 visited Yenepoya Hospital to inquire about the health condition of the former union minister and Rajya Sabha member Oscar Fernandes.
Speaking to the media persons, Kharge said, “There seems to be a little recovery in Oscar’s health. He is opening his eyes. I’m confident that he will recover soon. I will pray for his speedy recovery,” he added.
Oscar Fernandes was admitted to the hospital here after he suffered a head injury due to a fall when practising Yoga at his home.
At present, he is under treatment at Yenepoya hospital, is improving after he underwent surgery to remove a clot in his brain.
