Puttur: Two-wheeler rider Ismail of Naithady was dead in a car-two-wheeler accident at Kallarpe on the outskirts of the city at around 7 am.
Ismail was on his way to his farm in Kallarpe in the morning when the accident occurred. Ismail, who was seriously injured, succumbed to his injuries on the way to Mangaluru for further treatment. The scooter was crushed due to the impact of the accident and there is no information about the occupants of the Madikeri registered car.
Ismail leaves behind his wife, three daughters and a son and a host of relatives and friends. A complaint has been registered by Sambya police in Puttur rural limits.
