Mangaluru: A man seeking solace in the seawaters for his skin rashes is feared to be drowned while taking a dip in the sea at Mukkacherry, Seaground Ullal here on Sunday, April 23.
Haneef (35), a resident of Masthikatte had ventured into the sea as a remedial measure for the skin rashes he had developed due to heat. However, owing to the high currents he lost balance and is feared to be drowned in the water.
A team comprising of local swimmers and experts are searching for Haneef.
Haneef is married and has two children.
