Man Sentenced to Three Years Imprisonment and Fine for Hostel Theft

Mangaluru Court Imposes ₹20,000 Fine on Man for Using Fake Visa

Mangaluru: The Principal Civil Judge at CGM Court has handed down a three-year prison sentence and imposed a Rs 5,000 fine on Mahesh Pai.

Convicted of stealing three mobiles from the Urva Devraj Urs Post Metric Girls’ Hostel on June 18, 2023, Pai was arrested under Urva Police Station Crime No. 51/2023 US 380.

Following a court appearance and charge sheet submission, the verdict was delivered by the Principal Civil Judge at CGM Court.
