Mangaluru: The 5th Edition of Mangaluru Lit Fest will be held at TMA Pai International Convention Centre here on February 18, and 19 under the theme ‘The Idea of Bharath’.
A total of 25 sessions of the seminar will be organised in which more than 55 speakers will participate. At the end of each session there will be a quiz on literature and the winner will be rewarded with a book.
Two films will be screened at Litfest. There will also be 16 bookstores. Rani Abbakka Tulu Study Centre President Sri Tukaram Poojary will be conferred with this year’s award. Book stall, Tulu script learning workshop, discussiin on inculcating interest in parents about children’s literary tastes and story, interaction with authors (Harate Katte) are the highlights of this year’s LitFest.
The inaugural session will be held under the concept of ‘The Idea of Bharath In Amrithkal: Reclaiming The Right Path-The Way Forward’ concept. Jagannath, Vinay Hegde, and V. Nagaraj will be present on the occassion.
