Mangaluru: Congress War Room Chief and Writer M. G. Hegade said “BJP’s speeches are still revolving around Hindutva. Their’s is the only cultural and communal politics. Their achievements were to crush the developments made by the Congress.”
Speaking at a public meeting at Guddeangadi junction on the seventh day of the “Bantwal Prajadhvani” Yatra led by Former Minister B. Ramanath Rai on the night of Friday March 17 said, “The BJP is confused about ideology. All those who question the BJP will become anti-Hindu,” he said.
“Has the Congress party made achievements and contributions only to non-Hindus, or have Hindus not got them?” Hegade said, adding that the sand of Rs. 2,000 from our MPs has not yet come to the doorsteps of people, the BJP’s Hindutva is not original but just a fake one,” he alleged.

The BJP’s job is to create hatred, jealousy, abuse and character assassination, so how can it become Hindutva?” he asked, adding that the politics of communalism could no longer survive if they had developed crores of rupees as a counter to Rai’s Rs. 5,000 Crore programmes. Nothing happens with emotional speeches. The Congress will never do communal politics, no matter how much BJP ridicule us. Our’s is only the politics of pluralism. Whether the power comes or goes, it’s okay,” he added.
