Mangaluru: CCB police detained three people, including an employee of a packaging company, for stealing raw materials for plastics from Gujarat worth crores of rupees and defrauding the business.
The arrested are Mahesh Kulal (38), a resident of Kapikadu, Ananta Sagar (39), a resident of Shakthinagara, Sai Prasad (35), a resident of Kadandale and Kiran Samani (53), a resident of Tamil Nadu. It is alleged that the suspects sold the things they stole. Mahesh Kulal had invested in posh automobiles, properties, and salons. Additionally, he made fixed deposits and capital market investments with the money.
Six mobile handsets, four laptops, a desktop computer, a Hyundai car, a Renault car, a Santro car and a lorry together worth Rs. 74 lakh have been confiscated from the accused.
