Mangaluru: A man has filed a complaint with the Puttur City Police alleging that his one-and-a-half-month-old daughter received expired injections from doctors at the hospital.

Jeevan Prakash D’Souza, a resident of Kanyana, who filed the complaint, claimed that on October 24, he brought his daughter to the hospital, where doctors gave her an injection. He claimed that the medication had expired because the date on the injection’s vial was past its expiration date.

The complainant demanded legal action against doctors for irresponsibly prescribing medicine after its expiration date.
