Mangaluru: Imran Shaikh, an accused from West Bengal, has been sent to 14-day judicial custody in connection with the murder of his wife and stuffing her body in a gunny bag at a rented house in Beeramangala area here in the City. The Police had gone to West Bengal and traced the whereabouts of the accused and brought him back.
During interrogation, he revealed that he had taken a bus to Bengaluru and after murder boarded a train to West Bengal.
The accused has been arrested by the Police. When he was produced before the court on December 1, it is learnt that he has been remanded in judicial custody till December 14.
