Mangaluru: The deceased has been identified as Sesappa alias Shreyas (30), an unmarried youth from Sarpadi. The youth, who hails from a poor family working as a driver with a private company, was on his way back home from his job in the evening on a bike when the accident occurred.
Shreyas sarpadi was on his way to his house on dharmasthala highway from B C Road side on a bike when the driver of the speeding government bus coming from Dharmasthala side lost control of the vehicle and hit the bike from the opposite direction.
The bike was completely damaged in the collision and the youth was seriously injured and there was a bloodbath at the spot where the accident took place. He was immediately rushed to bantwal government hospital, where he was seriously injured and was rushed to Mangaluru in a 108 ambulance vehicle, where he succumbed to his injuries on the way, hospital sources said.
