Mangaluru: Dharmadhikari Dr. D Veerendra Hegde got the opportunity to propose vote of thanks after Honorable President Draupadi Murmu’s address in Parliament on Thursday February 9.

When Heggade was given a 10-minute opportunity before the Prime Minister speech, he said that the future of the country is not in the past glory, the present events are the foundation for the next bright progress. I wish the youth to take advantage of this.”

Speaking on the occasion he said, “I was surprised to see the development of The Kashi Shri Vishwanath Temple. I have visited there 2 times before. I am very happy to see the difference and the development there.”

He continued his speech after congratulating honorable Modiji for this, and said, “I convey my best wishes from Sri Dharmasthala Manjunatha Swamy Sannidhi. I wish that the holy places of the Nation are developed in a better way in the coming days.
Even foreigners have immense respect for our glorious heritage. From here, spiritual gurus and leaders who have gone abroad have propagated the importance of Ayurveda, Yoga and Naturopathy in the protection of health.”

“The role of millets in health care is also important. Congratulating the Honorable Prime Minister for proclaiming that the Prime Minister’s ‘Ek Bharat Shresht Bharat’ programme is particularly important, he said that languages do not divide us ut unite us.”

‘The youth should be made aware of our spirituality and famous pilgrimage sites. Suitable opportunities should be created for them. Holy places like Kashi, Ayodhya, Kedarnath, etc. have seen tremendous improvement.”

He appreciated and congratulated the Honourable President for quoting sri Basavanna’s vachana of Karnataka titled ‘Kayakave Kailasa’.
