Mangaluru: Miscreants duped a man of Rs 10 lakh under the guise of selling a Hitachi machine in the City.
Amol Sarjerao Urkude duped M. Kumaresh, owner of KM Enterprises.
According to sources, Kishore, an employee of Kumaresh’s, informed him that a Hitachi machine was being sold in Maharashtra.
In addition to paying Amol Rs. 10 lakh, Kumaresh sent Kishore to Maharashtra to buy the machine.
However, Amol’s phone was switched off when Kishore reached Amaravati and tried to call him.
A case has been registered in this regard.
