Mangaluru: Hindu Mahasabha State President Rajesh Pavithran alleged that a conspiracy is being hatched to kill him and that few Hindus had collected information about him claiming to be CCB policemen.
Addressing mediapersons in the City on Monday August 22, Pavithran said that on Wednesday August 17, five unidentified persons visited my former driver Kiran’s residence in Mukka of Surathkal in City outskirts around 9.00 pm and enquired about my movements. When asked about their identity, they claimed that they were CCB cops and asked him not to reveal anything a gunpoint, he said and added that Kiran immediately lodged a complaint with the Police Station and Police Commissioner.
Continuing further, Pavithran said, “I have got a definite information that those who visited Kiran’s house that night were Hindus. Stating that the BJP has withdrawn the security given to many including Muthalik,” he said. It is really hurting us that Hindu leaders are not important under the BJP Government, he rued and urged the Government to give the police freedom to conduct a proper investigation into the matter. He stressed that there is o room for any peace talks.
