Mangaluru Police Issue Traffic Restrictions for PM Modi’s Evening Roadshow

Mangaluru: In the wake of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s roadshow in the city today evening (April 14, Sunday) for the upcoming Lok Sabha election, the city police have diverted the traffic. The traffic restrictions will be in place from 2 pm to till conclusion of roadshow.

City Police Commissioner Anupam Agarwal has issued an order restricting the vehicular movement in the city in the wake of PM’s roadshow.

According to the sources, the PM’s special aircraft lands at the Mangaluru International Airport around 7.45 pm and the PM will initiate the roadshow by garlanding Sree Narayana Guru statue located in the Ladyhill area around 8 pm, and it will culminate around 9 pm at Navabharat Circle.

Route Changes for Vehicles

  • Vehicles coming from Udupi to Mangaluru will move via Nantur Junction, St. Agnes, Kankanady to State Bank
  • Vehicles going from State Bank to Udupi will move via Lady Goschen – Clock Tower – Railway Station Junction – Nandigudda Road – Kotichennaya Circle – Kankanady Junction
  • Vehicles from Pumpwell to Mangaluru city will move via Kankanady Junction, Milagries Junction to State Bank
  • All vehicles coming from Car Street – Kudroli will move via Mannagudde, Urwa Market to Ashoknagar Kodikal Cross
  • Vehicles coming from Bijai Church will move via KSRTC Junction to Kottara Cross/Kuntikana
  • Vehicles coming from Kuntikana Kottar Cross will move via KSRTC Junction to Bijai Church
