Mangaluru: The Government has revised the price of LPG cylinder for commercial use with effect from April 1 and has reduced it by Rs. 92. With April 1 being the beginning of the new financial year, various new rules have come into effect from April 1 and the prices of cars will become costlier. T
he prices of medicines will come down and a new tax regime will be introduced. From April 1 the price of a commercial gas cylinder has been reduced by Rs. 92. But there is no difference in the price of 14.2 kg of domestic cooking gas.
In March, the Central Government had increased the price of a cylinder for commercial use by Rs. 350 and now it has come down by Rs. 92 in April. In Mumbai, the price of a commercial gas cylinder is Rs 1,980 and in Chennai it is Rs. 2,192.50. In Kolkata, a 19-kg commercial gas cylinder costs Rs. 2,132.
