Mangaluru: Thieves broke into a home where a woman was alone, tied her and stole Rs. 4.60 lakh worth of gold jewellery from her.
The incident happened at Arasikatte near Naravi.
According to sources, four masked men broke into the home of Prabhavati Naika (67), tied her up, and stole 15.25 sovereigns of gold. She was home alone at the time.
An inspection was conducted when the police officials arrived at the spot.
