Mangaluru: The murder of tiger dancer Jayananda Acharya at Haripadavu under Kavoor Police Station limits has come to light, recently.
Now, Kavoor Police has arrested the murder accused Rajesh Poojary of Devinagara in Kunjathabail and produced him before the court. The body of Jayananda Acharya was found with a string around his neck on Saturday October 8. Jayananda’s brother Achyuth Acharya had lodged a complaint with the Kavoor Police suspecting murder.
The Kavoor Police, who registered a case, found that the accused Rajesh Poojary had committed the murder and accordingly arrested him on Tuesday October 11 and produced him before the Court.
