Mangaluru: A truck carrying a pipe on the Thokottu flyover was hit by a truck that fell down on the road. However, no mishap occurred.
The incident took place when Navayuga organisation transport was on its way from Gorigudde to Talapady toll to store old pipes supplying water.
When the lorry was passing through Thokottu flyover, the rope in which the pipes were tied broke and the pipes from the lorry fell on the road. Since it was evening and there were no vehicular traffic on the road in the wake of Ramzan fasting, a possible disaster was averted.
