Health and Family Welfare Minister Dinesh Gundu Rao expressed his belief that Dakshina Kannada would be the epicenter of a political shift during a consultative meeting with representatives from various communities organized by the Congress on Sunday. Rao, who serves as the district minister of Dakshina Kannada, emphasized the importance of providing opportunities for individual development.
“We are witnessing a transformative wave in the coastal region. The government is committed to the welfare of all communities, and we will ensure that initiatives are taken to ensure justice for everyone,” Rao affirmed. He urged people to spread awareness about voting’s significance and encouraged active participation in the electoral process.
Congress candidate R Padmaraj highlighted the party’s efforts in empowering backward classes by offering him a ticket. “I will work diligently to address the concerns of the people who have placed their trust in me,” Padmaraj stated. The meeting aimed to understand and address the challenges faced by individuals from marginalized communities.
