Mangaluru: Mangaluru South MLA Vedavyas Kamath started road development work at Jeppinamogaru Ward of Mangaluru City Corporation, recently, by performing a ‘Bhoomi Puja’.
Speaking to the media he said that several local leaders had met him and demanded for funds and now, he has brought a special grants of Rs 7 lakhs, which will be used for development of roads and drainage system.
“At first, the drainage system will be laid and then the road work will be taken up. The local residents will face inconvenience when the work takes off, but they must co-operate so that the ward can see development,” he said assuring the people of completing the works as soon as possible.
BJP leaders Sandesh Shetty, Shubhakar Shetty, Savitha Shetty, Sneha and others were present.
