Bidar: There are numerous monuments in Karnataka, and among them stands the Ramalingeshwar Mandir in Bannalli village, a temple steeped in ancient history spanning thousands of years. The local MLAs of the constituency have expressed their keen interest and have repeatedly emphasized the importance of visiting the temple to ensure its preservation and continued existence.
In his recent visit to the temple, MLA Dr. Shailendra Beldale said that this is the only ancient sculpture temple in Bidar Dakshina Constituency and that the tourism sector should be given a boost by taking the necessary progress through the Department of Archaeology. Deputy Superintendent of Hampi Zone of Archeology Department, Abhiantara Bharani Dharana, Bidar Zone Assistant Processing Officer Aniruddha, and many others were present.
Dr.Nihil Das said that he is also cooperating in the preservation of the monument and the team will be active in this regard. A sincere effort will be made to take appropriate action for the comprehensive progress of the sculpture temple at Ramalingeshwar village, Bannalli village, Chitaguppa taluk.
On behalf of the archeology department, comprehensive research will be conducted on this temple by experts, many beautiful stone sculptures with old Kannada scripts have been found here.
