Mangaluru: A woman committed suicide by hanging herself at her residence in the police quarters, at Shakthinagara, here on Thursday November 2.
The victim has been identified as Uma (26), wife of Jinnappa, a police constable attached to Mangaluru East Traffic Police station.
Uma hails from Adapur Lingsoor Taluk of Raichur district. The reason behind her drastic step is yet to be ascertained .
Uma is surivived by her husband and two kids aged 4.5 years and 2.5 years.
