Muslim Central Committee condemns Kathua, Unnao rape incidents

Mangaluru: Condemning the Kathua and Unnao rape incidents, that has outraged the entire nation, the Muslim Central Committee (Dakshina Kannada and Udupi district) demanded the resignation of Jammu & Kashmir CM Mehabooba Mufti.

Addressing a press meet here on Saturday, KS Mohammed Masood, President of The Muslim Central Committee said, “The committee severely condemns the barbaric incidents reported in Kathua and Unnao. Such cases need to be fast tracked and the culprits should be given death punishment.”

Further he said that since Mehabooba Mufti failed to initiate proper action against the guilty as soon the incident was reported she should tender her resignation and demanded that the Governor intervene in this matter.

He also urged the people to restore peace and not give importance to rumors.
