Near Tragedy: Tiger Costume Fire Averted in Mangaluru!

On KS Rao Road, Mangaluru, a group of tiger costumers performing various exercises were going for a procession when a costumed person started a fire stunt. His cap catches fire as the tiger costumer dares to spit fire from his mouth.

Mangaluru: As Navratri and Dasara Festival approaches, the whole Dakshina Kannada district, including Mangaluru, is full of tiger costumes and tiger dance. This year also Dussehra and Navratri have been celebrated with grandeur including tiger dance in many places across the district. In the meantime, there have also been reports of incidents where tiger impersonators have been attacked. A video of a tiger costumed being attacked in the presence of actor and director Raj B Shetty went viral.

Now, in another such incident, the hat of a tiger costume caught fire. Fortunately, a major disaster was avoided. On KS Rao Road, Mangaluru, a group of tiger costumers performing various exercises were going for a procession when a costumed person started a fire stunt. His cap catches fire as the tiger costumer dares to spit fire from his mouth. He immediately took off his hat and took care not to catch fire. A huge disaster is averted due to the tiger’s sense of time.
