It may be recalled that some of Sharan’s accomplices were recently arrested in connection with the case of threatening and demanding hafta at Hotel Paradise at Kadri and also vandalising the hotel.
In 2013, Sharan made headlines after the murder of Prakash Kunjathbail to avenge Bejai Raja’s murder. He is also said to have plotted to murder Pradeep Mendon, the prime accused in the Bejai Raja murder case, but the plan failed.
He again made headlines after being accused in the murder of Ramakrishna, administrative officer of KVG Institutions, Sullia. However, Sharan was given a supari to kill the administrative officer owing to a family dispute of the KVG institute’s proprietors.
Sharan was a member of the Hindu Jagarana Vedike years ago but was ousted from the outfit after he was accused in the case of looting jewellery in Jeppinamogaru.
