Mangaluru: Dakshina Kannada Deputy Commissioner Rajendra K.V. has ordered on Monday October 4 to start the offline classes (in person) for students of Standard VI to II PUC in the district from Tuesday October 5.
The order stated that already all the staff and teachers of the schools and colleges of the district are vaccinated. The ordered stated to strictly adhere Covid guidelines and Covid appropriate behaviour in the institutios. The present Covid – 19 positivity rate is also under control, and hence the physical classes will be allowed in the district, DC added.
Further, DC has ordered the concerned officials to implement the order with immediate effect.
