Mangaluru: The city police sleuths on June 1, nabbed a person on charges of selling ganja to college students and others. Based on a tip-off, Ullal Police Inspector Gopi Krishna K R and Sub-Inspector Vinayaka Thorgalappa intercepted the accused in Talapady and confiscated a motorbike used for the offence.
The accused is identified as Aboobakar Siddik (32), a resident of Magalpady, Uppala. The police have seized 1.5 kg of ganja from him.
The value of drugs and property seized is Rs 20,500.
A case has been registered in Ullal Police Station.
