Dakshina Kannada’s Deputy Commissioner and District Magistrate, Mullai Muhilan, has issued an order implementing prohibitory measures within a 100-meter radius of the DC office. These measures will be effective from March 28 to April 8, aligning with the upcoming Lok Sabha elections.

The decision aims to uphold law and order, especially as the pre-election procedures are conducted within the DC office premises. The prohibition will be enforced daily from 6 am to 6 pm throughout the specified period.
