Mangaluru: In order to simplify property tax payment system further, the citizens will now be able to pay taxes at Post Offices and Mangalore-One centres from Monday April 25.
Mangaluru City Corporation (MCC) Commissioner Akshy Shridhar in a press release stated that the citizens are requested to avail complete benefit of the system.
MCC has been accepting property taxes through online platforms since November 2021. The citizens too have been making the payments through net banking, UPI, Debit/Credit card and other digital modes. Further, there is also a provision of downloading challans to be submitted to any branches of Karnataka Bank, Canara Bank and Union Bank in the Corporation limits, MCC Commissioner added.
