Mangaluru: Kanachur Hospital and Research Centre, Natekal, in association with ‘Decathlon’ organised a marathon run under the theme of ‘run for charity’ in the city, on Sunday, September 1.
Over 200 participants from all walks of life and age groups participated in the event. They arrived at around 5:30 am at Decathlon, Mangaluru and after a Zumba workout by Zuese Trainer, they got onto the streets of city and completed the run with an amazing spirit and grace.
The run was started by 6 am and the event concluded by 9 am. All runners were given a participation certificate and a medal too. The top finishers of 5,000 meters and 10,000 meters run were given special gift hampers. Dr Rohan Monis, Chief Administrative Officer, Kanachur Hospital and Research Centre and Mr Jordin, Store Manager, Decathlon gave away the prizes to the winners.
