Mangaluru: The Samvidhana Samrakshana Samithi president, Hyder Parthipaady has informed that the organisation will be organising an anti–CAA, NRC and NPR protest at Madani Nagar Kutthar on Sunday, March 1.
Speaking to the media on Thursday, February 27, he informed that the protest will be inaugurated by Mangaluru MLA U T Khader.
“Human right activists Teesta Setalvad and Shivashundar, former IAS officer Sasikanth Senthil, eminent thinker Mahendra Kumar, SDPI vice-president Abdul Majeed Khan and CPI(M) leader Sunil Kumar Bajal will be the main speakers at the protest,” he added.
The ‘dua’ will be offered by Udupi Khazi Bekal Ibrahim Musliyar, parish priest of the Babukatte Nithyadhar Church Fr Elyas D Souza, and parish priest of the Bishop Sargent Church, Babukatte Fr M Prabhuraj will also be present, Hyder Parthipady said.
Samithi advisor Krishnappa Salyan, Umar U H, Allwyn D’Souza, Naveen D’Souza and others were present at the press meet.
