Mangaluru: Former chief minister and Congress leader Siddaramaiah reiterated that he was scared of people who wear tilak.

When he landed at the Mangaluru International Airport, on Wednesday, March 6, reporters sought his response over his recent statement of ‘scared of people who wear tilak’. He said, “Tilak should be small. Long tilak really makes me jittery. It doesn’t mean that those who don’t wear tilak is non- Hindu”, he said.

When responding to a query on seat sharing between the Congress and the JDS, Siddaramaiah said, “The decision on selecting candidates for the Lok Sabha elections will be finalised within 3-4 days”.

“The candidates will be finalised with the mutual understanding between the Congress and the JDS”, he added.
