Mangaluru: Mangalore witnesses another tragic incident of drowning as a schoolboy is swept away by the waves at Panambur beach.
The victim, identified as Tukaram, was a seventh-grade student who had gone to the beach with his friend Mathuri after school. While playing near the shore, the thirteen-year-old was suddenly caught by powerful waves, dragging him into the sea.
Despite the efforts of lifeguards who swiftly responded to the emergency, they were unable to reach Tukaram in time as the waves had already carried him away, tragically ending his young life.
