Belthangady: Monetary aid of Rs 10 cr has been given for development of various temples by Sri Kshethra Dharmasthala, said Shree Kshethra Dharmasthala Dharmadhikari Dr D Veerendra Heggade.
Addressing a celebratory event as part of 49th anniversary of his appointment as Dharmadhikari and announcement of Sri Ksethra as cleanest pilgrim centre in the country, Dr Heggade said that all efforts are being made to realise the concept of ‘Ramarajya’.
He said that there are plans to build a well-equipped complex where pilgrims can avail food easily. “A firm in Bengaluru has already been contacted in this regard. The Kshethra is also chalking out massive plans of Dharmasthal town development,” he said adding the anniversary of his appointment as Dharmadhikari is a day for him to retrospect and assess the work done in the Kshethra.
Minister for Religious Endowment Rudrappa Manappa Lamani, Member of Rajya Sabha from Karnataka Prabhakar Kore, MLA K Vasanth Bangera among others were present.
It may be recalled that India Today awarded Shree Kshethra Dharmasthala as the cleanest pilgrim centre of India.
