Mangaluru: Sri Samyamindratirtha Swamiji, the disciple of Sri Sudhindratirtha Swamiji who passed away recently, was enthroned as the new head of Kashi Math at Sri Vyasashrama in Haridwar on Thursday January 28.
Religious procedures related thereto were performed in the area where the mortal remains of the Swamiji were buried. Various ceremonies and activities were held throughout the day beginning from 5.30 am.
In the evening, the Swamiji was brought in a grand procession to the public meeting of GSB community, where he was offered ceremonial reception. The Math disciples raised slogans hailing the Swamiji as he occupied the throne to be the supreme head of
Kashi Math. His followers offered Padapuja and Patta Kanike followed by acceptance of Phala Mantrakshathe.
