Mangaluru: Heavy rains lashed in and around the city leaving the commuters stranded at many areas on Friday, November 23 night.
The rain started lashing at around 8.40 PM. As the rain continued for nearly an hour, a flood like situation was witnessed everywhere in city. Power connection was also disrupted as there were lightning and thunderstorms. The sudden rain hit normal life as commuters found it very difficult to reach their destinations.
Water gushed into the roads in many areas like Urwa, Ladyhill, Kodialbail, K S Rao Road among others and vehicular movement was disrupted.
