Kasaragod: An endosulfan victim succumbed after the deadly insecticide robbed him of his childhood.
Shreyas (18), son of Vasudeva Nayak, a resident of Bedrampalla is the deceased, who breathed his last after a prolonged battle, since birth.
His condition worsened in the last couple of days and eventually died at Kasaragod General Hospital, after he failed to respond to the treatments.
Shreyas, treated earlier at Periyaram Medical College Hospital and other hospitals in Mangaluru city had been enlisted for compensation by the Kerala state government before death.
