Mangaluru: In Dakshina Kannada district, a unique ceremony took place at Marodi Sri Umamaheswara Temple in Belthangady taluk, aimed at invoking peace and security for Indians in Israel. Local villagers conducted a special puja for this purpose.
Marodi Narayana Poojary’s family members conducted a special ranga puja to offer prayers to Sri Umamaheswara Deva. Simultaneously, the villagers also organized a collective prayer, hoping for the safe return of Indian employees in Israel.
Narayana Poojary Uchchur, a Marodi resident, emphasized the significant contributions made by many villagers employed in Israel to their village’s development. Expressing pride in his own work experience in Israel, he highlighted the importance of peace to ensure the well-being of all nations. This sentiment motivated them to conduct prayers and seek the welfare of those affected by the conflict.
