Mangaluru: Three persons have been arrested by the Ullal police on Wednesday, November 14, for vehicle thefts. As many as 15 stolen bikes estimated at around Rs 20 Lakh, were recovered from the arrested.
They are Shahir (23) from Manjeshwara, Mohammed Adil (26) from Uppala and Abdul Munavar (21) from Kasargod.
During their interrogation, they confessed to stealing two-wheelers from various areas of the city.
It is learnt that, in all, they stole six bikes from the Mangaluru South police station limits, two bikes from the Mangaluru North police station limits, two from the Urwa police station limits, one bike from Mangaluru East police station limits and four bikes from the Ullal police station limits.
