Belthangady: In a heartbreaking incident on November 23, Thursday, a college student lost his life in a tragic road accident in Ujire after losing control of his bike, which subsequently collided with a road divider.
The deceased, identified as Deekshith (20) from Kalmanja, was a diploma student at a private college in Ujire. The unfortunate incident occurred as he was en route to the college after having lunch at home.
Despite swift efforts to provide medical assistance, Deekshith was first taken to a local hospital and later transferred to a hospital in Mangaluru. Tragically, all efforts proved futile, and he succumbed to his injuries.
