Mangaluru: Mangaluru South MLA Vedavyas Kamath initiated a developmental project worth Rs 29 lakhs in the Jayanagar area of the Maroli Ward, by performing Bhoomi Puja.
Addressing the media, he said, “Developmental projects pertaining to basic facilities have been carried out in the Mangaluru South Assembly constituency. Based on the people’s demand, we have initiated the concrete road construction process at a cost of Rs 29 lakhs.”
“I’ve decided to transform the constituency into a ‘model constituency’ in the coming days and will abide by the demands of the people when it comes to developmental projects,” he added.
During the event, BJP leaders Ramesh Kandettu, Chandra Shetty, Vasanth Poojary, former corporator Keshava Maroli, committee president of Brahma Baidarkala Garodi Kshetra Chittaranjan, BJP Maroli Ward president Jagannath Doddamane and others were present.
