Mangaluru: Mangaluru Lok Sabha candidate from the Bharatiya Janata Party, Nalin Kumar Kateel requested the people to vote for the Prime Minister Narendra Modi-led BJP government, here on Thursday, April, 4 for peace and development in the city.
Addressing a public gathering at Vitla town of Bantwal, he explained why they need to choose BJP and not Congress.
He asked a series of questions to the people, “Do you expect Dakshina Kannada to be peaceful or not? Do you want a government which is useful for the public or the ones who take the credit? Do you want a leader who shows hooliganism? Do you want one who runs pubs and clubs? Do you want people who strive for holistic development or selective development? Do you want a ‘Chowkidaar’ (one who protects and takes care of everyone) or ‘Namdaar’ (one who only takes credit)?”
He asked if people wanted “fooling Gandhi” or “fulfilling Modi”?
After people showed support for Modi, Nalin said, “If you want PM Modi, then vote for me.”
