Mangaluru: A young couple was treated to worms at popular food joint KFC in City Centre Mall on Monday, October 26.
Prashanth and his fiancée Deekshitha had been to KFC on Monday evening. They ordered a Zinger Burger. After eating almost half the burger, Deekshitha reportedly found two worms in it.
Speaking to News Karnataka, Deekshitha said that as she tasted something uncanny, she opened the burger only to see worms in it. The couple immediately complained to the outlet manager who in turn is said to have replied that the worms must have come from vegetables.
Though the staff refused, the couple clicked pictures of the burger as proof. They are likely to move the consumer court.
