Young Dentist Passes Away in Her Sleep Due to Severe Headache

A profound sense of grief enveloped the community as news emerged of the untimely passing of Swathi Shetty (24), a promising young dentist residing at a PG accommodation in Pandeshwar, Mangaluru. Swathi, the daughter of Jyothi Shetty and Ramanna Shetty Alvarabettu, a respected senior leader of the RSS in Naringana village, succumbed to a severe headache on Monday night while asleep.

Swathi, who had recently completed her dentistry training at AJ Hospital in Mangaluru, was scheduled to commence her duties at a clinic in Pandeshwar on Tuesday. Having departed from home on Monday evening, she had opted to stay overnight at a PG accommodation. Tragically, that night, she expressed her discomfort to her parents over the phone, mentioning a severe headache before abruptly disconnecting the call.

In the morning, Swathi was discovered unresponsive, prompting a frantic rush to Wenlock Hospital. Despite the efforts of medical professionals, she was pronounced dead upon arrival. Swathi leaves behind her grieving parents and a brother, her promising future tragically cut short by the sudden onset of illness.
