Udupi: After the state health ministry confirmed four positive cases of the deadly novel coronavirus (Covid-19), a woman in the “Temple City” has been admitted to the KMC Hospital here, for a suspected coronavirus infection.

According to District Health Officer (DHO) Sudheer Chandra, a 68-year-old woman from Sagar (Shivamogga district) was suspected to have contracted a Covid-19 infection, which is why she was admitted to KMC Hospital. Her saliva samples were sent to a laboratory in Bengaluru for testing.
