Karkala: Apoorva Naik, daughter of Vasanth R Naik and Geetha V Naik, originally hailing from Nakre in Karkala, was crowned ‘Perfect Miss India – 2015’ a national-level beauty pageant organized by Perfect Woman Magazine on December 4.
Apoorva emerged as the runner-up in the pageant that was held in Bandra College premises. She is currently residing in Andheri, Mumbai with her parents.
Hundreds of beauties from across India had participated in the pageant. Apoorva successfully managed to impress the 12-member jury in various rounds such as ramp walk, wear round and several other talent rounds.
Apoorva had recently won the Vardhaman Fantasy Face of the Year – 2015 organised by Zen Asia Foundation at St Andrew’s Auditorium in West Bandra. In 2012, she had bagged second place in the Maharashtra state level ‘Fresh Face – 2012’ competition organized by Bombay Times and Clean and Clear Brand.
Apoorva, who is a bundle of talent right from her childhood has gained excellence in Bharathnaytam, folk and also western dance. She is currently pursing MBA in Pharmatech from NMIMS, Juhu in Mumbai.
