Udupi : Certain about losing state polls, Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) may foment violence before polls to mislead people in the state, predicted actor Prakash Rai and warned the state electorate to remain vigilant of such a possibility.
Actor Rai aired his views during a intercative programme titled ‘just asking’ in Udupi.
BJP will never regain power in the state . Even if it manges to do so, B S yeddyurappa’s tenure as chief minister will not last beyond 3 months. Someone else will take over as CM in all likelihood , Rai said.
People in the state are familiar with these tactics played out by BJP in the past and the party changed 3 chief minister’s during its tenure, mainly to quench the thirst of power hungry leaders within the party, Rai rediculed.
B S Yeddyurappa is being used as a political pawn by the saffron party to storm back to power, Rai predicted.
