Udupi: Speaking at a press conference here on Tuesday, Director of Netrajyoti Paramedical, Rashmi Krishnaprasad clarified that the three students who confessed have been suspended and handed over to the Police for investigation.

She was giving a clarification regarding the issue of mobile filming of female students in the college toilet.

“We have not found any video allegedly filmed by the students. We got the mobile phone from the student and gave it to the police. Also, three female students have already been suspended,” she said.

“The victim did not file any complaint, she said that she will not file a complaint as the accused is her colleague. Also, the victim wrote that it was done as a joke. Her future and the future of the other three girls are important. It was a wrong message that hundreds of female students were filmed. Don’t give wrong information and spread false ideas on social media without knowing the fact,” she said during the press conference.

“We do not observe differences in religion among children,” she said. She also stated that individuals of the same religious group who recorded the video demonstrated their objection to the incident at the college.
