Udupi: Heavy police security has been provided outside many colleges across the District on Friday October 14 in response to the Supreme Court verdict in the Hijab controversy.
Government Girls’ Pre-University College, Women’s Degree College in Ajjarakadu, MGM College, Udupi, and Government Pre-University College, Kundapura were among the colleges where there are heavy police presence.
Senior police officers including District Superintendent of Police Hackay Akshay Machindra inspected the security arrangements.
